Cartema for iPhone

Cartema for iPhone takes your organisation's apps into the field. Sign in with the same email address and password as on the web.

#What it does

• Your apps: the list shows the apps your organisation has published.
• The map: layers (with folders, legend, layer info and zoom to layer), identify, search, distance measuring, the basemaps, and your position — tap the location button to show it, again to follow it.
• Drawing: Point, Line or Area, then Save drawing with a name. Saved drawings are the same as on the web: private until you share them there.
• Recording a path: tap the walking figure. After Waiting for GPS… it shows Recording with the length and the time; imprecise positions are left out. Stop turns the path into a line you can save as a drawing. Recording goes on while the phone is locked, and stops if you leave the map.
• Flight plans: the drone surveys planned for the app, flight by flight, with the lines on the map, a pre-flight checklist carrying the plan's numbers (height, speed, overlaps, photos, minutes) and the distance to the take-off point. After flying, add the photos from the phone; they go up to the flight for the orthophoto (see Drone flights and orthophotos).
• No network? A drawing saved without a connection waits on the phone (“drawings waiting for a connection”) and is sent as soon as there is one. The map shows what you have already viewed.

#Settings

• Language: the phone's language, English or Portuguese.
• Appearance: system, light or dark.
• In the field: vibration on actions; screen stays on while a map is open; your position in the Dynamic Island while following.
• Storage: the size of the map cache, and Clear to empty it.

#Widgets

• Your apps on the home screen opens an app with one tap.
• While you follow your position, a Live Activity on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island shows your position in the grid, the distance measured and the layers on.

#Privacy

The app uses your location only while you are using it, and your path leaves the phone only when you save it. See the privacy policy.
